I love Lancaster, PA, because my family's from there.

Chicago has great food, and DC is interesting

    I don't like Los Angeles, because it's a shithole.

This is my hometown, and where I went from pre school to high school. The city has been taken over by Mexicans on the Eastside, and Asians + you MENAs in the suburbs.

I heard it's very cool place, best climate in US and lot safer/laid back than LA. My cousins who live in California told me lot of good things about it (they don't live there though).

It is. I've spent a week there although my parents and sisters lived there (although that was before I was born). There is very nice weather all year around and it is also safer. I did notice a lot of homeless people, so it got affected by the recession a lot; its also expensive to live there compared to elsewhere. But to visit it is a great city. Depends on what you like, but there are Mexican and Asian enclaves, a huge natural park (which rivals New York's Central Park) with many museums and artistic places, a Little Italy and business district, nice beach areas, an area called North Park which is very artsy and somewhat bohemian, and nice waterfront districts. A little bit of everything to experience.

I can judge only the cities what I have visited, already - i.e just a few cities at Texas:
Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio.

The most favorie one for me is Austin

Are we talking visiting or living?

    Visiting
    New Orleans

    Ft. Lauderdale/Miami

    Could live here easily.

    San Francisco

    Living
    Cincinnati (where I live)

If you live in the city centre you can literally walk to any hood you want. Great parks with amazing views, low cost of living, really good restaurants, good night life, Traffic is not bad except I 75.
Baseball, Football NFL and College Bearcats, and soon probably MLS
Nippert Stadium UC Football plays here and so minor league FC Cincinnati. I can walk here in 5 minutes and I do.

On the top left that is an outdoor beer terrace. Great spot.

Besides here for living it would have to be South somewhere in Florida, Lauderdale to the Gulf Coast.
