On your mixed mode it shows best fit as 60% Shefa amr + 40% Iqrit.

I recall you said some people in your family are originally Christian. So this makes sense.

I also think your Jordanian side are originally Palestinians who moved to Jordan. I have hundreds if not thousands of relatives who moved to Jordan but they call themselves Jordanian now.

Yeah according to a relative my dad's side of the family was Christian at one point. I also have relatives with the same surnames on the Holy Land DNA site. My mother said her family traveled to Palestine from Jordan after what seemed like a dispute with a bedouin tribe. Apparently it was the Al Majali family. It is possible they traveled to Jordan then back to Palestine, but who knows. I haven't been able to find out much sadly.

So the idea that European admixture exists in muslim Levantines, is it truly from the Crusades? Or a different source? Why do many of my fully European matches appear as 4th or 5th cousins?
