Buddhism I think. Christianity, although I was raised in it, is I think a somewhat simpler religion which appeals to a wider variety of people I guess. Unless you're one of those who will be damned in hell for eternity by not choosing Christianity. Buddhism isn't so much a religion as a form of spirituality that can be applied and practice in a pretty individual kind of way, at your own pace. I'm certainly not a Buddhist but I like taking in aspects of it and applying it to my daily life, if possible. Not that I believe in true nirvana or forms of reincarnation, but it's an interesting way to view the world.
I have a feeling most here practice Christianity more as a primarily ethno-nationalist form of expression than in the truly caring, universal/cosmopolitan, turn the other cheek, do unto others as you would like done unto you, way Jesus meant. For many I've met, Christian=European=good. Islam=foreign Muslims=bad.
That being said there are some good writing on Christianity. Aquinas' work, even some of CS Lewis' stuff I guess.
The worst potential competition for any organism can come from its own kind. The species consumes necessities. Growth is limited by that necessity which is present in the least amount. The least favorable condition controls the rate of growth.
Memory never recaptures reality. Memory reconstructs. All reconstructions change the original, becoming external frames of reference that inevitably fall short.
Historians exercise great power and some of them know it. They recreate the past, changing it to fit their own interpretations. Thus, they change the future as well.
Those who would repeat the past must control the teaching of history.

Afaik, Buddhism is not a religion and descends from Hinduism.
I opt for Hinduism and European elements added to core Abarahamic Christianity.

Religion doesn't feed on wisdom. It feeds on dogma. None of them is sufficent enough to fully satisfy the modern humans with rational brain.

Christianity build noble and strong civilizations.
Whether one likes it or not - family unit, traditions (birthdays, namedays, HOLYdays), military etc are Christian traditions.
Why military? Because Islam attacked and declared war on Christianity and from there military tradition spread through out the Christian world.
