Also Gypsies have helped preserving the musical traditions of European countries in particular in the Balkans.

As alot of professional musicians who played at weddings in Balkans were Gypsies.

They often took the montone and primitive folklore themes of the region they were living and enriched it with variations and made
it more smooth,colorfull and gave life to it.

Sorry but i think without Gypsies Balkan folklore would have been much more boring and alot of old melodies,dances would have been lost

I mean real gypsies, not people who are over 90% British with a little gypsy ancestry. Also, him being Romanichal isn't mentioned on wikipedia. Are you sure it's not just a rumor?

As for Blacks, it seems they contributed more to both entertainment and to lesser extent Science. I honestly I have seen not any Gypsy contribution.

But I like jazz music, not as much as some other musics, but it's still good sometimes.

The music and dance was mainly developed and known through Gypsies.

All the stuff about Arab or Sephardic origin of Flamenco is crap no one plays and dances this music the way Gypsies do.

To be fair there were some excellent black entertainers.

Based on what I know I would say probably Blacks. There's also a lot of smart Blacks out there...just look at Neil Degrasse Tyson.
