    Default Grandma’s haplogroup different from us.

    Just got grandma’s (mom’s mom) 23andme back. Her mtDNA haplogroup is X2 and mine and my mom’s are X2f. Any insight?

    If your autosomal dna shows she is very closely related then 23andme is clearly bad with haplogroups. For Haplogroups use FTDNA.
