When people know you are Irish it changes to Brunn and you can only pass in the Isles. I'm exaggerating a tad because some people did say I could pass in other countries but I get a lot of you are very "British" looking lol!.

I agree there’s a big bias in classification depending on where ur from/born, Maybe they just don’t know how people from the British isles vs continental Europe look I’m speaking about passing here specifically, I’ve seen a lot of continental euros like Belgians germans Swiss French and they don’t look the same as people from the british isles or the Netherlands or Scandinavia. There are clear differences, obviously not gigantic ones but enough to see and differentiate from. It’s like the difference between a Levantine and a Turk for example

I think people just have lots of biases about populations. No one said Irish when they didn't know it was me. I do think I look Irish but I think people have very strong stereotypes in mind when they think of populations. The thing with larger amounts of people is that you will usually get a couple of very stereotypical people that will tell you the country but large amounts of people are more interchangeable and can pass in neighbouring populations.

What's funny is that Brunn and Dalo-Faelid are meant to be the most similar to each other according to the SNPA, but you would never guess that from the examples posted here and people's apparent perceptions.

The common-sense ideas in TA concerning physical anthropology are incredibly wrong most of the time, the difference between forum taxonomy vs legit physical anthropology is comparable to astrology vs astronomy or worse.

DaloFaelid = any Cromagnid (often just influences even)- form in Eickstedt (+ Günther) system,

Coon= Brunn - Borreby, Brunn being the dolicho leaning form, narrowheaded, Borreby the wider headed and brachyform leaning. The more "progressive", "graciler" and "slender" ones are Nordic/Med admixed. Thats it

highly simpliefied and people should look on reconstructions if they are able to see CM, Nordic etc. characterstics on those. it usually ends up in crying about supposed "wrong" pigmentation though
