An incredible trilogy of games, deeply inspired by Nordic mythology, with an art style so beautiful (heavily inspired by the works of Eyvind Earle [known best for the 1959 classic animation of Sleeping Beauty], Ralph Bakshi`s rendition of Lord of the Rings and The Last Unicorn) it will make your jaw drop more than once. To top it all of the soundtrack comprises of eclectic Nordic Folk-esque pieces with hints of the works of Hans Zimmer, recorded by a small orchestra with solo singers (including the famous Peter Hollens).
