It doesn't. Lowest temperature at night in January rarely goes below 8ºC (46ºF).

Depends. When I sleep at day, yes, sometimes. Last time I slept with window of my room open at night, i woke up sick.

I prefer a not too soft bed.. would rather be cooler than hotter.. and inclined towards a little moonlight over pitch black..
