Australoids such as Solomon Islanders often have blonde hair, but as far as Asian Mongoloids go I have not seen any with it; maybe a very dark shade of brown inching towards black yes.

I believe some Koreans and Japanese can have brown hair but can't say with certainty that it wasn't just died.

My family member from the Punjabi Jat Waraich clan had dark blonde hair when younger, but it’s now changed to brown who originate from Gujranwala West Punjab in modern day Pakistan.

I don't think so. I've seen plenty of Asians with jet black hair and brown/black hair. I think dark brown hair can be found in certain parts of NE Asia. The only blond Mongoloids who exist are in central asia, as others mentioned, because of Caucasoid elements - or perhaps albinism.

I haven't seen any Koreans with straight-up blonde hair, but I did grow up around a ton of Koreans during my youth of whom few had a brownish sort of colour to their hair though I'm not really sure if it was just died of course.

Tocharians were small farming communities along rivers banks of upper Tarim Basin. Ironically, it is more Mongoloid leaning northern Uyghurs who might have some Tocharian blood. Tocharian language was likely dead, and did not exist several centuries prior to the relocation of Uighurs replaced by Sogdian and Turkic. Uyghurs also absorbed thousands of Han Chinese settlers who were living in urban areas since Han times. Uyghurs likely absorbed more Sogdians than Tocharians. It is recorded and documented by Uighur Idiqut (Qocho) authorities, 9-13th centuries.

Proto-Turks were predominantly Mongoloid but not as Mongoloid as today's inhabitants of eastern Steppes. Mongol invasions of 13th century changed demographics and phenotypes. Even medieval Uighurs who adopted a rational policy of negotiated submission did not escape additional Mongol element/intermixing, 14-16 centuries. Impact on Han Chinese was minor due to their massive population since ancient times.

Maybe this girl from Korla is partly of Tocharian descent, who knows.

Well, if they were children, esp. boys, it probably wasn't dyed. One of the clues to a natural variation in hair color is the beauty standards I've read from Japan. They use phrases such as hair as "black as a raven's wing" and skin as "white as milk." Statements like that imply variation.

Even if most people had really dark hair, growing up around dark haired individuals, one would naturally be able to distinguish between the various shades of dark hair (brown black/blue black/jet black).

I found it on reddit a while back and the guy said he has always been fair haired, of course he could be lying, who knows.

    Edit: his post - https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/c..._your/cjgm6zv/

Edit: He said in another comment he probably has partial albinism, which would explain his hair..

You guys are forgetting the Hmong. They don't have any West Eurasian admixture to my knowledge and can produce this indepdenently as a mutation

The worst potential competition for any organism can come from its own kind. The species consumes necessities. Growth is limited by that necessity which is present in the least amount. The least favorable condition controls the rate of growth.

Memory never recaptures reality. Memory reconstructs. All reconstructions change the original, becoming external frames of reference that inevitably fall short.

Historians exercise great power and some of them know it. They recreate the past, changing it to fit their own interpretations. Thus, they change the future as well.

Those who would repeat the past must control the teaching of history.
