I just mentioned it because someone that was pro-circumcision mentioned this. My dad isn't circumcised.
In my family, when they circumcise infants (not directly after birth, but later) they use anesthesia. This obviously impacts people differently from, let's say in the US, where newborn infants have their foreskin removed without anesthesia, and used for other means

And yeah, it is safer than to do it so early, but post-operation it is very painful and one will miss the sensitivity they once had.

Yes, the pain starts when the anesthesia wears off. As for sensitivity I think it's only noticeable (for yourself) if you got circumcised as an adult.

What I've been told is that even though you clean yourself you (some people) can still get infections. Think of it as having nails that cut through the skin and create infections.
