Pretty nice filmography. Movie is set in the cultural revolution and revolves around a dance troupe.

Did you watch the movie? It was absolutely beautiful and had its moments. It's definitely one of those movies where you have to be chinese to fully appreciate it though, including all the nuances. My grandparents lived through this period in their youth so it would be even more meaningful for their generation. When I watched it at the theatres, we were almost all chinese, many were from the mainland and my seniors. By the end of the movie, few eyes were dry (mine were though )
