Could we ban all "are these people white" discussions?

It's getting tiring.

And I'm really annoyed because these people never specify what they mean by "white." Do they mean genetically European? Do they mean white passing in the United States?

"White" means different things in different contexts. I once heard a Chechen woman say that she's white in the United States but not in Russia.

I wish we could stop these discussions.

White is just an America term. I. Europe don't use that. Probably the US members make threads.

agree it is annoying . if the term would make sooo much sense there wouldnt be so many threads about it . even worse that you get dragged into the discussion because of others because they mention your ethnicity even though you dont want to have anything to do with the topic

Of course the mongoloid Russians claim the Chechens as non white.

Caucasoid is the appropriate term, they come in different pigmentation. Chechens are of Caucasoid stock. Like large chunk of Caucasus, West Asia, Middle East, Europe and North Africa.

What annoys me about classifications is if the person country of origin is stated, then he or she would be guessed on what a typical phenotype is in an area.

For example, if a Lebanese woman gets posted here she would guessed as East-Med, but if the same woman was Iranian, she would be guessed Iranid.
