It's all about Kosovo, there is an idea among Serbs from Bosnia in case if Serbia has to lose Kosovo in some way, then why not Republika Srpska wouldn't have the same right to separate from Bosnia and unite with Serbia.

The reality of Bosnia is that people cross that inner border to go to work, trade, go to hospitals and so on.
Putting a border would only create issues to people's life.
