    Italians themselves are Arcadians (Peleponesians), and Anatolians.

    Strabo in Geographica said: Etruscans are Lydians (Western Anatolian people) today known as Turks.

    Majority of Modern Italians are Conquerors from 5-8th century... most of them are not Italians just like Saxons and Angles are not British and
    Roman Emperors lived BEFORE conquest of Italy.

    Only Balkans survived Germanic invasions, (although Western Balkans had peacful Slavic migrations with whom we mixed).
