I have seen many claim they are bulgarians. Macedonians themselves ,from what i've seen, say they are not bulgarians.
Ethnic maps from 19th century shows they are bulgarians
    What do you think?

Bulgarians are Turkic people from Central Asia.

    That term isn't European.

If Greeks really think that Bulgarians are Turan people and not Thracians and Macedonians ... then..

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgarians
Bulgarians (Bulgarian: българи, Bǎlgari, IPA: ['bɤɫɡɐri]) are a South Slavic ethnic group who are native to Bulgaria and its neighboring regions.

    They are not turkic.

Proto-Bulgars were a Turkophone Irannic people, but today’s Bulgarians are a Slavicized Thracian people with some Bulgar admixture.

Mainly a mix of Bulgarians and Albanians, with a whiff of Turkic admixture.

What FYROMians here tell you is simply moot.

Northern ones definitely have close ties to Serbs, especially from region of Skopska Crna Gora. I also heard that Macedonian tribe of Mijaks has epic poetry about Serbian rulers from medieval times and i think that this tribe had Slava which is a thing only Serbs have.

Do their genes show turkic admixture?

Sometimes the ethnonym means nothing. The "Serb" is mostly probably an Iranic loanword in proto-Slavic language, since it isn't foundable in even older proto-Balto-Slavic language, but just in proto-Slavic (90% come from Iranic Sarmatians).
