Not in Miami, but I knew quite a few Quebecois when I was in Boston from 2016 to 2018 ish, in fact, I even went to Montreal a couple times. There are people who say they are rude folk but I always got along with them very well....like when I went there I knew about ten words in French and I'm pretty sure I pronounced them incorrectly, still never had any problems like what people describe. Also, poutine is great

Do they prefer to speak in Spanish? I never noticed that, but sometimes I'd teach them words in Spanish and they'd do the same for me in French.
