Are Russians mostly descended from Slavs?

Are Russians mostly descended from Slavs who migrated from the lands in which they originated; northeast of the Carpathian Mountains, or are they mostly descended from native Scythians/Sarmatians/etc...?

My opinion is that they are mostly descended from Slavs who migrated from Poland, Ukraine, etc...because here is a sample of an ancient Scythian:

Southern and central Russians are mainly of Slavic origin. Northern Russians are more Finnic.

Most of Russians are Scythians.

That is official stance of Russian Academy of Science.

It is unimportant what WE think cause we don't have data.

Here Russian Scientists explain that Russians are Scythians.

Slav = Scythians & Sarmatians.
