As I said in my earlier post, Spain may have been there first but it was the Anglo culture that established America, the WASP Founding Fathers, the laws based on English Common Law, it was the 13 colonies and/or Anglophone Protestants that spread throughout the continent and created the USA, not New Spain.
There are places in Brazil that are named after Amerindian tribes or derivatives of their languages, including my home state and city, yet it was obviously the Portuguese that created Brazil, as racially diverse as it is, it's the Portuguese language that binds us Brazilians together, it was their laws that we base ours on, it's their religion, as is yours, that the majority of Brazilians adhere to.
America had Spanish, French, British, Dutch and even Russian and Swedish colonies, but the one culture that superseded all others, and is the heart of American culture is obviously the WASPs, I'm not even saying Great Britain "created" the American nation, but its core values are the core values that supplanted America's rise. As it did Australia, New Zealand and most of Canada.

No friend, I'm not, you're just trying to pick at strawmans to twist that aren't even there.
Let's summarise this, because you're just arguing for the sake of arguing now, and for that reason I'll stop here. America had many competing cultures vying for dominance, for various circumstances the one that superseded all others was the WASP. The WASPs are the glue that made all Americans Americans, their culture is America regardless of who built what when where, that's what the US has today, a WASP foundation.

I like Italian Americans the best. They seem to be the most unique in comparison to other White Americans in terms of culture and etc.
