Cultural properties and Unesco sites are not the same thing..

Italy has decided not to submit many sites for inclusion in the Unesco World Heritage shortlist ( next years to come )
The reason? It has too many and wants other nations to catch up.

Louvre museum is bigger than Uffizi.. but in the "cellars" ( ? ) of Uffizi there are stored so many art treasures to fill n° 2 Louvre museum...
Same story in Venice-Rome-Naple-Milano-Turin-Perugia-Siena-Palermo museums...
