I don`t think that Albanians share any similarity in phenotypes with Italians. Italians are a mish-mash of populations, from Arabs in South to the Germanics in North. In the middle you will find everything.

I have been to some Italian parts in South and i felt i was in some Lebanon or Irak. Even worse than some of our gypsy cities like Fier or Elbasan.
