Italians vs Spaniards

Most Spaniards' faces are in Atlantid to Mediterranid range. Whereas, most Italians' faces are in Dinarid to Mediterranid range. Dinarid is supposed to be darker than Atlantid but as I observed, Spaniards have darker pigmentation than Italians overall. I think, climate has an essential role on this topic. Since Spain is warmer than most parts of Italy, Spaniards have become darker. What do you think?
