Yes, those who denies global warming ... uses example like this (Lapland). But with snow ... it doesn't matter are there -15C or -25C (Lapland) ... all rain will come down as snow anyway.

But if the temperature is already quite close to zero (like it was many areas in Finland last winter?) .... few degrees (even one) might have huge impacts. My understanting is that it still rained normally/quite much in Finland? Good to keep in minds: 1mm normal rain will mean 10 times more snow ... about 1cm.

That is exactly how it works. A huge difference between -5 C and +5 C.

Alex II, a great man. BLM shouldn't touch his stature. Ravintola Onnellinen, maybe your favorite beer place?

During decades the Finnish morphology has changed. People in newer movies have broad face and nose.

Half of those black-and-white-era Finnish actors have dark hair too. Maybe they just chose people who looked exotic as actors, or who looked the same way actors looked in foreign films.

What Finns actually looked like in the 1930s (https://www.kuvakokoelmat.fi/picture...akusana_2=193*):

    Spoiler!

This is a photo of Forest Finns from 1930. The girl on the right looks foreign not only because of the dark hair, but also because she has gracile med-like morphology of the face and body. The girl on the left looks very anti-foreign and distinctily Finnish-like, not only because of the light hair, but also because of the round face and low nasal bridge.

I think how foreign people look probably has a distribution like a normal distribution. In the same way that a few percent of Finns look very foreign, a few percent of Finns also look very anti-foreign and even more Finnish than typical Finns. Average Finns look more foreign than anti-foreign Finns.

They didn't look like your selection. I have shown old pictures from Satakunta to Oulu. I can show same pictures again, usual workmen, rags, lower class people.
