Russian Patriarch Historical Visit for 3 days in Albania.
The Representative of the biggest Orthodox Church, the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russians, Kirill will visit Albania for 2-3 days starting this Saturday.
It is a very important news for Orthodox Albanians, and also an important event to mark 2 things: The huge Orthodox legacy in monuments and history among Albanians and to show also the religious harmony.

From April 28 to 30, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania will host His Mercy and Holiness, the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russians Kirill. This first peaceful and historic visit is of special importance, as both Churches have experienced a fierce communist-atheistic persecution.
On Saturday, April 28, 2018, at 16:00 p.m., the Archbishop Anastasios, accompanied by members of the Holy Synod, will host the Patriarch Kirill at the international airport "Mother Teresa". Then will continue the official Dhoxology in the Archdiocese of Christ Resurrection in Tirana.
Sunday, April 29, in the morning, the two Primates of the Churches will officiate in the "Resurrection of Christ" Cathedral in Tirana, with the participation of clergy of both Churches.
Later, the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Albania will host the official lunche at MAK Albania Hotel.
In the afternoon, at 18:00, will be celebrated at the Cultural Center of the Cathedral Church. Firstly will take part the presentation of the publication in the Russian language of the book of His Mercy, Archbishop Anastasios, "To the ends of the earth". In the Divine Liturgy and in the festive show, the Moscow Patriarchate's Synod Choir will also take part.
On Sunday evening, His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, will host a dinner at the Brigade Palace.
On Monday, April 30, the Patriarch Kirill will have formal meetings at the Presidency's Headquarters, with the President of the Republic of Albania, Ilir Meta, as well as at the Prime Minister's Office, with His Excellency, Prime Minister, Edi Rama. In the end he will visit the Monastery of Saint Vlash, Durres and the Theological Orthodox Academy "Resurrection of Christ". The departure of the high visitor is scheduled at 14.00, from the international airport "Mother Teresa".''
