Do you support the death penalty?

Murderers deserve capital punishment, and would probably advocate the death penalty for other forms of extreme crime as well. But there has to be enough proof, I agree that we don't want the state to abuse it's power.

no because I don't see any reason why we should kill someone rather than just keeping them in jail. I also value human life too much to just end someone's life completely for a crime - I don't even really trust the government with the authority to make such an important decision as ending someone's life. the practice also seems like "cruel and unusual" punishment to me and something that is too primitive for a modern civilized nation to take part in.

If it weren't for judicial errors I would've supported the death penalty for certain crimes-criminals (serial killers, pedophiles, terrorists, child killers).
