My Italian is very low at 0.69 on that and not near the modern Ireland result.

It is probably in your higher than average East Balkan (or whatever name it should have), you know how these things overlap and East Balkan is rare in bell beaker. But still it pulls you closer to Ireland than England or Scotland with (Italian + East Balkan) as Ireland is lower but also Norway & Denmark as they must have dodged it.

wait, isn't Wales bit more southern shifted compared to other Celts or I got it wrong ?

Irish have more norse input the English do, but English have continental Germanic input that is low in Irish + some extra med, I guess (Roman , or something else) ?

The southern shifting input in England likely arrived from Celtic groups from France. But even Germany has more South shifting ancestry than any brits or Irish.

English are clearly a mixture of Brittonic Celts and continental Germanic.

First time I have seen someone from either Ireland or the UK with a lower West Med Score than me, mine is 9.71, but I still get Irish as my top population with a distance of 3.93.

I'm also half West Irish so I wonder if a low West Med is common for people of a West Irish background.

My mum's side is from the Connemara Gaeltacht, a place called Carna in Connacht.
