My 85 year grandpa simply doesnt get to adapt hinself in modern ways and technology. He uses an old radio to hear notices; he uses a wood burning stove and catch fishes, krabs and mariscos com uma tarrafa.

Only my maternal Grandparents are still alive. My grandmother died in 2011 because of fucking cigarettes and my grandfather in 2007 of a heart attack.

I admire people like him, no technological vices, living life simply and healthly.

My grandfathers used to take me camping to hunt & fish, in Britain we have stag & hind seasons, I'm alright in the field but felt kinda bad killing them, I find fishing much more therapeutic though. I have some uncles in the region of Alta Floresta, MT they live a similar type of rancher lifestyle, it's great to visit them sometimes and experience the country.

Yep.Is unbelievable how this thing, way of life, changed in last century. If you take a man in 1000 A.C. and put him in 1400, probably he doest feel very impressionate. Now, if you take a man in 1900 and put him in 2000, maybe he will not believe in things which he would see.

My Paternal Grandfather died the early 80's with 50 years or so, he had Lung problems since his teenage years. My Maternal grandpa died in the early 90's in the age 50 too.

Both my paternal and maternal Grandmothers are still living, one is like 90 or something like that, the other is in here mid 70's.

True, the rate of advancement since the Industrial Revolution is mind boggling, it's hard to imagine that even a mere 15 years ago something as ordinary and entrenched in our daily lives as the smart phone was a thing of fiction.

My maternal grandmother died two years ago, almost, of a heart attack. She was 78. All my other grandparents are alive, although my paternal grandmother has severe alzheimer's. They are 97, 86, and 86 years old.

    Which grandparent is 97?

(I doubt any of mine will make it to 97)
