LARPing, basically. Same with neo-Semitic Paganism. If the religion's dead bringing it back is for LARPers. How powerful can your Gods be if they were completely without worshipers for centuries or millennia?

Some don’t even worship gods - e.g Bohemian Grove cult.

Basically this. They themselves don't believe in their religion but want to look for some cultural movement and then become "pagans" afterwards. Its just a hobby to them.

Pagan is just a slur christians used to describe unfamiliar religions (mainly polytheistic), muslims use the term "mushrik", so every religion is a pagan of another one.
Abrahamic religions are not different than other ones, all are man made dogma preaching moral values the founders of the religion thought it suits best for the well functioning of their societies.
When it comes to reanimating dead religions, i think it's of no usefulness, Christianity for example embraced much of the pre-existent polytheist traditions in Europe.

The paganism did not die but was wrapped in a layer of Semitic dogmas under our noses, nor did Christianity surpass paganism, its festivities have remained alive, syncretized, mixed, waiting for better times in which to prosper, because otherwise it would never have been able to impose itself in Europe, and it is that Christianity of an intolerable and implacable nature that destroys any native culture that finds in its path the one who is now paying for its outrages, it is impossible to put an end to paganism, the European soul is structured according to his religious-spiritual worldview, paganism has remained alive, syncretized, mixed, and now without the ties of the Abrahamic intolerant dogmas has reached its time to be reborn again.

Well, most Pagan traditions predicted a time in which the Gods would be forgotten. Basically all of the Indo-European traditions believe in a cyclical concept of time in which the last phase is a phase of darkness, degeneration and destruction.

For many Pagans this phase in the West started with Christianity. In the Puranas it is said that Vishnu would come in the beggining of the Kali-Yuga and invent false gods to led the unwise to doom.
