R-L48 Haplogroup

Greetings all,

I registered here not too long ago having been sold on a thread I stumbled upon regarding DNA. I was curious to learn more about the different haplogroups and haven't found much information on my own, (R-L48.)
If anyone could point me in the general direction of some info, or if they know already, please share. I have a friend who is quite into this and hadn't heard of mine, he theorizes that it may be a group of males that were nearly killed off.

In addition, are the different major haplogroups related in any way? (K, R, N, etc.) By looking at this map, I was wondering whether R was technically a branch off of K? Or are they entirely different genetic lines that just walked the same path at the beginning?

R1b-L48 is one of the subclades of R1b-U106 such as Z18, Z156, Z301, and Z381. R1b-U106 is a patrilineal descended family descended from an ancestral R1b group located among the Yamnaya culture, north of the Black Sea area. R1b-U106 rose to significance in southern Germany and the surrounding areas around 3,000 BC, which is associated with the expansion of the Corded Ware culture. The Z18 and L48 branches of R1b-U106 are found in all North and West Germanic populations.

Haplogroups R and Q are descendant haplogroups of Haplogroup P, which is derived from Haplogroup K. P* (P295) emerged in South East Asia and Q and R now include most males among Europeans, Native Americans, South Asians and Central Asians.

This is a Central Asian/Indo-European/Rethelite haplogroup. It's not native to Europe, though it is common there now.

From what I understand I1 made it to Europe first, was R the second?

I1 originated in Europe. R1 is Central Asian refugees/migrants.

Do you really think, that eastern half of Europe is not Europe?

R1 came from Kazakhstan, not E. Europe.

I1, the same as any other hg originanted on the Middle East - between Ararat and/or Babilon.
In addition, I seems to be brotherly clade to J, and has all basic clades still in the Middle East...
But lastly I started to doubt that brothership, as adequate thread is talking about it.

I1 came from IJ in Europe. IJ originated in the Mideast.
