I agree. I think his features do. His profile is very Irish. People put too much emphasis on colouring when features are more important.

You have to look at the majority or averages in a population. There is too much trolling on this forum. Every population have some very fair and darker individuals. Are all populations on here treated the same? Is Colin the average for the Irish population. We all know he isn't. Just like Russell Brand isn't the average for the English population.

Here's how I see it, De Niro looks Greek/Albanian to me and Colin looks like a standard Spaniard.

I can sort of see the NW Euro influence, but to me, he could easily pass in Palermo, but not at all pass in London or Berlin. I think he's Dinaro-Alpine-Med.

Phenotypically he looks quite Southern European. Especially in his younger, he looked even more Sicilian. However remember phenotype doesn’t equal full genotype. You could be 1/5 Swedish, but still the very light blond shade typical of Scandinavians with very light blue eyes.
