Most of the serious injuries and fatalities caused by dogs each year in the UK include dalmations, huskies, and labradors on the list of dogs who've killed people.

People perceive dalmations as being gentle because of how they were portrayed in a movie.

I was walking two labradoodles last year, and at first I felt able to handle them both (despite my boss warning me they were strong and nearly pulled my colleague over the previous day.) People stopped to talk to me and admire and stroke the dogs... and everything was going fine and well... until we walked back towards the salon. They suddenly both got very excited and pulled on their leads so hard and started running extremely fast in excitement.

I had to run at lightening speed along the pavement in order to keep up with them as I held onto their leads. I couldn't hold them both back as they were far too strong - and so they pulled me fast along the pavement.

Everything went blurry as I was running very fast and I saw traffic going past me in a blur - and I panicked and worried I'd be pulled into the traffic by the very fast and strong dogs.

Then suddenly as I was running fast past people, I fell down and hit the pavement, (the dogs were too fast for me to keep up with them,) and I was then dragged (whilst laying down) along the pavement by the two strong dogs as I still had hold of their leashes.

When they realised I was down on the ground, they both stopped running in excitement and walked gently back towards me. A man came running over and offered to help.

I had a massive bruise on my leg, a sore cut and graze on my hand and wrist, and my brand new M&S warm winter coat (that I'd only worn twice) was ripped from the incident. (My mother currently has my coat as she took it away with her to repair it for me on her sewing machine.) I was feeling very pissed-off after that. Never again would I walk two dogs of that size and strength both together.

Even a small and charismatic Boston Terrier nearly pulls me and my female colleagues into the road sometimes, as he's very strong and energetic for his little size.

I can handle most of the small dogs fine, but I'd never walk two labradoodles at the same time again as they're too strong for me to handle them both at once.

Some dog walkers will try to walk 6 at once as all they care about is money more than caring for the dogs (even with the West London average rate of £15+ per dog per hour - £90 per hour for 6 dogs at once.) I find it's more manageable to walk no more than 3 small dogs per hour, or one large dog per hour's walk. To walk 4 small and gentle dogs in the morning (2 for one hour and another two for an hour) and 6 dogs in the afternoon (not all at once,) you can still make £150 per day... and some areas of West London have a rate of £20+ per dog per hour, outside of the dog and cat grooming fees, and the dog and cat overnight boarding and day care charges. So I see no reason for some dog walkers trying to walk and handle 6 at once.

It's totally unacceptable and cruel for dog owners to leave their dogs alone at home all day with no exercise whilst their owners are away all day at work, and many dog owners in my local area will pay for their dogs to be properly looked after and played with and adequately walked (with photos taken) and cared for each day. They trust us with the keys to their homes to collect and return and feed their pets for them after grooming them and walking them, as we're all able to provide good background police record checks. We won't walk too many dogs at once as we genuinely care about their wellbeing and our own wellbeing too, as well as the safety of other dogs and people.

(My boss charges £35 per dog per overnight stay and currently has several cute little dogs that he's currently boarding in his home overnight for a month while their owners (all regular clients) are away on holidays in other nations... so he puts no pressure on me to walk too many dogs at once. And he has a rule for dog owners that he'll only board dogs that are well-socialised and well-behaved.)

Men are physically stronger than females and can handle walking more dogs at the same time:

    https://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...king-dogs.html

A strong Brazilian male work colleague of mine is able to handle several large dogs at once, but he's about twice my weight and is of a much larger build. The females in my workplace are all very slim and several of them go to the gym after work each evening with the guys, but the men are all taller and have stockier builds.

Professional dog walkers can't give each dog all the individual attention and care it requires if they try to walk 6 together, or try to break the dog laws in how many they're walking at once.

I met a nurse in hospital earlier this year who said that several years ago, she broke all the bones in her hand and in her upper arm after her small dog was yanking so hard on the leash (which she was holding firmly onto,) when it got scared by two German Shepherds in a park. The force of the yanking on the leash shattered her bones. She said it's a common injury amongst the thousands of people admitted to hospitals each year from dog injuries.

Luckily that's never happened to me (touch-wood,) but I've taken it into consideration when holding onto the leashes of dogs that are pulling hard.

Another female said she was standing in a park once and a playful large dog ran towards her side and knocked her over sideways. Her leg was left broken from the incident from the force of the large dog playfully knocking into her. She said the inconsiderate owners didn't even apologise or offer to help her after their dog had accidentally knocked her down.

She said they just left the park with their dog afterwards. They're lucky that she didn't take any legal action against them.

Even if they're not the dog's owners;- all dog day carers, boarders and walkers are legally responsible for the safe care and protection of other peoples pets whilst the dogs are in their care, and have to be covered by insurance incase the dog becomes injured, or causes injuries to other peoples dogs, puppies and cats, or towards children, etc.

The same way a person walking a dog outside is fined if they don't clean-up dog-mess - whether they're the dog's owner or not.

I've worked with some very boisterous and strong huskies and akitas that my work boss had to muzzle for the safety of his workers - as they were jumping like crazy all over the place... and were snapping and trying to bite when they were being dried and brushed. It took one man and two females to lift some of those very large and heavy dogs and to help keep them still whilst they were being washed, dried, and groomed.

A rottweiler that I was afraid to go near actually turned out to be very friendly, placid and gentle-natured in the grooming salon to my surprise. (Although I'm aware they could easily pierce your jugular veins in your neck or bite through the arteries in your wrists with their bite force and strength.)

However, I got a sharp and painful bite from this cute-looking dog (below) when I went to give him a friendly stroke.

After he'd bitten me with his little sharp and snappy teeth, I made a video-recording of him with my phone in the grooming salon.

(His owners paid £4000 for him and he's got such an angelic face... but looks are deceptive.)

An English couple who live in a castle in Devon in south-west England face having their labrador legally destroyed after their labrador dog attacked the postman, and also bruised the nose of a waiter during one of their dinner banquets. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...an-bottom.html

Their dog also tried to attack a jogger.

The amount of injuries to postal workers each year by dogs is astonishing.

Dogs will naturally defend their territory... but I think this pair of dog owners are irresponsible - and it's their fault.

They can easily afford to hire a professional dog trainer or hire a dog behaviour psychologist to help to improve their dog's behaviour.

I don't think the dog should be given a death penalty and murdered, (humans have done far far worse crimes in life to others in the UK - and yet have not been given a death sentence.)

The judge should give the owners an order and condition to keep the dog in a fenced-in or enclosed area within the large grounds of their castle home whenever the postman is due to arrive.

Also they should be ordered to place a muzzle over their dog whenever they're walking outside in public until their dog is deemed as safe to walk without requiring a muzzle by an animal psychologist once the dog's behaviour has been corrected by a dog behavioural therapist.

The owners desperately want to save their dog from being removed from their care, or being given a possible death sentence, so I think they would abide if an order and agreement was made in court.

The poison dart frogs are sought after by indegenous tribes that use their poison on arrowheads and darts (hence the name).
