If polygamy was legal and permitted by your religion, would you do it?

How do you mean what women should do? Like what should they do for sex?

There were similar scenarios in history when after wars lot of women would become widows, Serbia had few wars like that, but still there wasn't any polygamy (polygamy is awful btw). In real scenario like that what is happening? Nothing. Women continue to raise children, some of them would eventually marry older men who did not went to war, time will pass, new generation of girls and boys will raise, and some of younger women can marry some of younger men. I won't speculate what happens outside of marriage.

Well it's a terrible for a woman to go past 35-40 alone.

Sex is very much important part of life as well as having a husband, kids.

I was saying that in case of massive drop in male population, polygamy and large families would become an answer.

Without males chaos would erupt, and having two womans is better than prostitution.

Also womans are usually without property (house etc..) now imagine a situation where it's impossible to marry or find husband... that's a Doomsday for a woman.

I think only in THAT CASE.. where extreme measures are required polygamy would be an answer.

One woman is enough. If you ever been in a relationship, you'd know that one woman can be enough to drive you crazy. And let's not even go into mothers-in-law... Or all the girl drama in the background...

Take all this into account when you think about polygamy: it's not a gift, it's not a boon --- it's a punishment !
