I doubt they are 180cm on average, maybe only young born in late 1990s or later. Young southwestern Slavs are probably over 185cm on average!

Well, Albanians cluster the closest to the ancient Illyrians and share the same Y-DNA haplogroups as them while Southern Slavs are genetically around 50% Slavic(Croats, Slovenians and Bosniaks are over 60% Slavic while Bulgarians, Macedonians are less than 50% while Serbs are in the middle).
