I think you got me wrong. Let's see what i wrote.

First set here. "You have to understand that Scandinavia is still too far away from any Russian type of misery. Even if we talk about suicide rates, Lithuanians and Russians are on top." So i'm telling you Russia and Lithuania are on top. Socioeconomic issues are much worse in Russia and Lithuania so they are in top and comparable but not to Scandinavia.

Second here. "Comparing Lithuania to Scandinavia is a bit stupid. They are doing pretty well, despite that vodka belt thing." I of course meant that Scandinavians are doing pretty well, since Lithuania is still on that high suicide rate radar. This makes no sense other wise, right? My bad. But still made pretty clear that 1. Lithuania and Scandinavia are not comparable (your post was going for that) and 2. Russia and Scandinavia are not comparable. 3. Russia and Lithuania are comparable somehow. Those were the points.

I never heard about those stereotypes of Lithuanian women being cold. Was in Kaunas some time ago with a team. People somehow reminded me of Finns...

Finns and everything that reminds them is cold a priori. This is an axiom, evidence and other people's opinions are not needed here.

I guess that depends from whom you ask that and where to put ''origin'' (= neutral). If that is asked from Finns, they hardly agree (as not seeing that anyway negative character, more like totally opposite).

It's just a stable stereotype in the world. Of course, in Scandinavia it can be treated differently, but we in the south of Russia agree with this.

It is pretty cold in Finland sometimes indeed. That's why we have so many saunas. But i actually meant that Lithuanians remind me a bit of Finns when it comes to their looks not their emotional life.

Free to think whatever you like/wish.

....but we (Northern Europeans) don't care much what people southern than Hamburg might think. They (and their opinions) are like "air" to us!
