Lithuanians do have really high suicide rates. I would say the highest in Europe together with Russia. Russian economical crisis pretty much affected them. Their sad communist past is still present there as well and they are pretty melancholic people too. Many factors. But they are still less depressive and nihilistic than Russian men. That is for sure and i'm not even trying to be rude or something.

Finnish men have disturbingly high suicide rates too. This was the reason i told lyssyj his trolling was a bit off without a proper logic. He should have compared Lithuania to Finland. But i don't think he really got me, i wonder if he even realizes Finland is not part of Scandinavia but a part of Northern Europe. It is what it is. Anyway, people in Iceland and China, Japan have really high suicide rates too. It is hard to compare those problems just by looking at the stats. Russia obviously is a worse case than even Lithuania itself. Or Japan. Doesn't matter if we speak about suicides, rapes or domestic violence.
