    I think Iranid is just East-Med. East-Med is not uncommon in most of the Mideast lol. In Iraq there would be quite few Iranids not only in Assyrians but in the Iraqi Arab population itself. Some Iraqi Arabs are of Kurdish and Persian origins lol especially in Baghdad,Mosul and, Shrine cities. They do differ from the typical Sunni and Shia Arabs down there who often have tribal affiliation and claim Bedouin origins. Some tribes have members of both sects, depending on their geographical settlement. The tribes that settled in the South became Shia, well the tribes that moved west and north became Sunni usually Hanafi rite. Iraqi Arabs are typical Asian Alpine-Arabid and then followed by Iranid/EastMed.

    Nah I think EastMed=Iranid is more common than people think just EastMed sounds more Euro lol. Yes Iranid strain occurs in Iraq.
