Racial map of the white population

I live in Florida USA and notice that it is fairly white considering we have a fairly sizeable "Hispanic" population. Not sure what this map is based on; census reports in the US?

Well, Hispanics make up about a quarter of the state of Florida. Among those Hispanics, one third are Cuban origin. Among Florida Cuban origin residents, 85% are white. So considering this, and the half of the state that is non-Hispanic white and maybe some other white Hispanics of other origins, the state is probably about 60% white. Not as white as on that map, but still majority white.

What's the 1-10% in Turkey? I totally disagree, it should have been 0%.

Venezuela in the 30-50% white is laughable (is based on a stupid Census self classification system, in which any person with light skin, no matter if they look too mixed with Amerindian and/or black claims to be counted as "white", and more than 50% Venezuelans claim to be "white" under that criteria). People into the 85-100% Euro range (which is what I count as "white") are hardly 10-12% of the Venezuelan population (if not less, due to the current exodus of middle to upper class Venezuelans).

White and castizo Venezuelans added up together (castizos are people within the 70-84% Euro and 16-30% Amerindian range) might be as much as 30% of the Venezuelan population, but that's it.

Other than that, the map is not that bad.

It's that you have more Turks than Romania, which they are probably counting as non-white.
