What I don't get is how they got Ukrainian civilians there, East Karelia is not even that close to Ukraine.

These small nations are devoid of soul and inner nobility, like bedbugs. All they can do is stab in the back, betray and demand compensation. They will never remember anything good from our side, but they will invoice for every nail.

Plus the Boer concentration camps in South Africa during the second Boer war but hey it was full of white European christians so who cares. forgotten history. Also Turkey and the Armenian genocide, again nobody cares less christians in the world.

Armenian Genocide is recognised in most European countries though.

The Boer Genocide by the Brits is less emphasised, but I know about it since I was a young teen and I doubt I'm alone. However Anglo South Africans and Afrikaners seem to have moved on what that's concerned. Problems in current South Africa are of a different nature.

The US armed forces were forbidden from attacking North Vietnam directly. The war was never about taking all of Vietnam but preserving the South Vietnamese govt.
The war against Finland on the other hand was all out.
