Yeah but this is what i pointed out for Greece also.

The variety is more evenly distributed there across the territory than people here claim.

There isn't in particular such a Mainland Island divide as some Idiots here try to pass over.

Keep in mind they often go by extremes.

They compare the Northern most parts of Mainland Greece with Cyprus.
When they compare Mainland Greeks to Aegeans.

In reality all the Aegean from the Mainland till Cyprus is filled with different Islands.

Its not like when you leave the Greek Mainland Coast you are immediately in Cyprus.
If you understand what i mean
The Talmud tells us that the only language the Torah could be translated into elegantly is Greek.

Iberia is one big mass of land with the Pyrenees in the north though. Greece is a totally different situation.

When I lived in Spain I had a hot Polish housemate and we used to go excursions in different villages together to experience more of the Spanish countryside.

Once, we went to a village off Salamanca called Tamames.

A bunch of old ladies started gathering around us as we were sitting at some restaurant to have lunch. They were pretty much staring at us.

We waved at them, they came up to us and started asking my Polish housemate where she comes from and told her she looked fascinatingly beautiful with blonde hair and blue eyes e.t.c.

Then one of the old ladies turns to me and asks me "so which village of Salamanca do you come from?"

All except possibly the far north that borders Bulgaria and ex-Yugoslavia.

That's a great story. My favorite part was when the old ladies gathered around a couple of foreigners in a restaurant. That beats the fascination with blonde hair imo.

Lol, Tamames should be near you. Find a tall blonde Polish woman, take her to a restaurant at their plaza mayor and tell us if you can reenact it.
