Before my addiction used to be watching television, but nowadays it's The Internet. But I think the internet is a much more self-enriching platform overall, though addictive in many ways as well...like a hardcore drug lol. But IMO it's a fact that people who get online are overall the better informed ones on the latest trends.

Agree, if you are intelligent you can use your free time in the internet to learn things, Tv is becoming more idiotic day by day, and drags you down.

It's just poor time management; a skill that can be improved with consistent effort.

    I'm guilty myself.

This said, after a hard, long or difficult day, sometimes mindless TV is what a person needs to wind down.

The more time you spend on the internet the less time you spend outside socialising with real people.

The less time you spend socialising with people the less opportunities you have to develop your socialising skills.

The less developed your socialising skills the more anxious you will feel in social situations.

the more anxious you feel in social situations the more likely it is for you to be bullied.

the more bullied you are, the less likely it is for you to go outside.

the less time you spend outside the more you will want to seek contact with other humans.

and you will end up here.

    It's a vicious cycle

and the only solution is for you to be courageous

get a teaching English certificate, come to Europe with one of those English assistant programs. Fix your diet.

Because you are a good person, and its a shame for your potential to be wasted.
Being Greek is an experienced grounded into nation, not consumption.
