The typical 'white American' is pasty, blue-eyed and has standard British-German features. Not many Iberians and Italian fit that description, with the exception of North Italy.

Of course most Iberians don't look like your average WASP of German and British descent but I'm pretty sure they don't look off, either.
Here some White Americans of (predominantly or partly) Iberian descent:
Rita Hayworth, American actress (father was Spanish):
Bob Martinez, American politician of Spanish descent:
Hector Elizondo, American actor of Puerto Rican (actually Basque/Spanish) descent:

I think Spaniards could pass very well among Whites in Northeastern USA (New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts) since they have a lot of Southern European types. Probably also in Florida, California and Texas. There are parts in the US that have a lot of White Hispanics/Latinos, you know.
As for Italians, the Northeast of course.

Marco Rubio, born in Florida from Cuban parents, but being him of mostly Spanish stock, is another good example:
Ted Cruz, born in Calgary, Canada, who is half Anglo American (mother) and half Cuban (Spanish stock) form his father's side, is another good example:
Cristina Aguilera, who is half Anglo American (mother) and her other half Ecuadorian, but mostly Spanish stock (father's side), is also another good example:
Cameron Diaz, who is half Anglo-American (mother's side) and half Cuban of mostly Spanish stock (father's side), is also another good example:
And many many more people out there...
