I personally support LGBT rights, but I do get annoyed when I see a clear agenda to promote it in the media. I am from a city with a lot of LGBT and I get along well with them IRL, except for the drama queen types, but at the same time, it is strange when they are being promoted as the norm nowadays.

I think most regular people here don't either, but most people inside the city of San Francisco do, the LGBT narrative is very powerful there.

I don't think the US as a whole is more pro-LGBT than Europe, there is a wide variance. It is a very large country. A large part of the country is much more conservative than Europe as a whole.

In regards to LGBT folks, Europe is more tolerant on average, but racially, the US is more tolerant than Europe (again, on average).
