I've observed for years (living in the hotbed for Hispanics) that Cubans are much more racially segregated so I would say that you have a concentration of high percentage SSA within a small segment of he population (unmixed) just as you have with Euorpean Cuban whites. But overall I would guess there is less general SSA in Cuba. In Puerto Rico on the on the other hand high level racial mixing seemed to yield a greater percentage of the population with SSA admixture. I do believe that pure Euro Puerto Ricans (I met one years ago) are a fading group. Be curious as to the percentage of pure Europeans in Puerto Rico.

Yes. Cuba has purer whites than PR on average.

PR whites are more likely to have higher Taino and African admixture on average and the standards of whiteness are generally looser.

However, Cuba's Oriente region is far blacker than Eastern Puerto Rico(which is the blacker part of the island). Many PR's here in the Northeast hail from Eastern PR(historically) and they're still around 50% or more European on average, despite being more black admixed than Island(or even Florida) PR's on average.

There's many areas in Eastern Cuba that are just like Loiza in PR, except larger and more concentrated.

And Western Cuba, from what I've seen, is similar to parts of Brazil nowadays where you have lots of whites but still a sizable mulatto and black minoriity that's visible.

I'd say 35% of PR's can pass for run on the mill Southern Euros or Levantines while the average one has a more Tri-racial look. Cuba has more pure whites but a large part of their country is full of Afro-descendants. Cuba is pretty similar to Brazil in this regard when it comes to these type of contrasts.

But Brazil has more tri racials than Cuba. The northeast Brazil is more Similar to Puerto rico, except Bahia. Southeast Brazil and Bahia really look like Cuba.

But I think Cuba on the slightest
All around me are familiar faces, worn out places, worn out faces

    MY CRAZY INTERPRETATION OF BRAZIL

1.I think Bahia is more closer to DR with a little more whites.
2.Maranhao seems a euro version of Panama.
3.Rest of Northeast is more like PR with the exception of RN and CE that reminder more like a mix of Colombia Paisa region and PR. Some parts of Northeast also look Venezuela.
4.North looks more exotic and unic to be compared.
    5.Rio looks Cuba.
6.Minas Gerais looks a euro and more amerindian version of Cuba. Or a euro version of PR with more segregation.
7.Sao Paulo looks an more trirracial influenced version of Buenos Aires province.
8.South looks a south euro influenced and less segregated version of USA. Maybe like an latinezed USA kkkk
9.Central West is a mix of South and Northeast. So its like mix of latinized USA more PR more DR more Venezuela more Colombian Andes more Cuba more Panama.
10.ES state is a mix of the South with Cuba/Rio de Janeiro.

Except Minas gerais is no more amerindian than Cuba. Both score the same % of amerindian, ssa and euro.
