low-vaulted vs high-vaulted?
I see this term used in different classification descriptions. What is the difference between the two?
Can someone show some examples of each?

1) Alpine,Dinaric,Mediterranean,Baltic and Nordic should be enough to identify most Europeans.
2) These are not races, just examples of possible variants. Have fun with them but don’t take it seriously.
3) No one is a Steppe Warrior or a Hunter Gatherer. Stop Frowning in your selfies to look badass, looks like you are taking a s*it.

You check were the earhole is. Then you measure a line to the highest point of the head.
If you drew a line, you will see that the Irish would be -in proportion- shorter than the Afghan.

A high rounded forehead should indicate a high head yes, but not always. Dinarics can be high headed and have a sloping/flat forehead too.

The man has a very low/flat forehead with a low hairline. But For Lower /Higher Head you don’t have to look at forehead but at highest top of the head.Low-vaulted man:

Both are low-vaulted with low foreheads (of course, one I posted is a more extreme case of a low forehead). Keltic Nordids and some Amerindian tribes are also typically low-vaulted with rather low foreheads.

We're talking about a low vault, not a low hairline.
This woman looks high vaulted.
