Why I disagree with this thread has to do with your regionalization of Italy but not Greece and/or Spain.

I put "Sicily" in the poll as a stand in for what we understand to be the southern part of Italy with similar phenotypes (Naples, Calabria, etc) I was on my phone and it was easier to type it in than "south Italy" six times.
Iberia is fairly homogenous north to south (the exception being northeast Spain which has little North African or MENA input) so it does make sense to homogenize Iberia and group it into one category. As far as Greece goes, I put just Greece because while there is more Near Eastern input into the Aegean islands than into native mainlanders, there is a large Pontic or Anatolian Greek population in northern Greece that, in my view, would make walking around northern Greece yielding more blatantly exotic phenotypes than the south even if the true natives would not. So in a way you could then say that the only unmixed part of Greece, from this perspective, is the center and south of the mainland.
