    Yeah Iraq has very high birth rate more in the south than in the north or west. It has to with shiaism. Iran has little due to poor economy, and are less religious than what many people think. Afghanistan has high birth rate for similar reasons. It should be noted that in southern Iraq, women don't really work, and children are still seen as way out of poverty. It's less in the North because the Kurds are less religious, and have become more urbanized. The west has less because it was the most educated region. As for Turkey and UAE relatively urban, women are somewhat emancipated which means they can work, and in the case of the UAE strong economies lead to less birth rates hence the story of the West
