Independence for Tuscany: Opinion poll

Do you think Tuscany is a nation which should aspire to independence from Italy today?

Tuscany and Tuscans in their homeland and abroad have a strong identity and they are proud of their rich history and culture, which has enriched the world, since the time of the great Etruscans, who settled in this land kissed by God from the distant Middle East.

Tuscany lost its freedom in the 19th century, becoming part of a bad nation like Italy.Tuscan nationalism is getting more and more consensus lately and many independentist movements are borning and are getting more importance. However the Tuscan separatists are scattered in small parties, which have to be united in only one party in my opinion.

I think Tuscany has all the carachteristics to become again an independent country, also out of NATO and EU. Tuscany and its people in its contrasts and in its unity (which Italy is attempting to hide) deserves freedom and autodetermination.
