The Polish are renowned in England for:

    - Stabbing people.
    - Getting drunk and stabbing people.
    - Squatting (and threatening people who remove them with knives).
    - Trade con artists.

And many more. All could be forgotten for their plus sides, but even that is incorrect.
It's always banged on about how hardworking they are, but I've yet to see it in my time on site. (Latvians are the hardest workers from the East in my opinion, by the way.)

I suppose the only upside of Poles is that their women are quite easy.

    Iberian sterotypes about Poles:

Sadly none, for the average spaniard there is hardly any difference between a Pole, a Russian or a Serbian. They are all "ruskies".

my personal stereotypes about polish people

    they are exceptional with guests

    positive stereotypes:

They are (specially females) way above british average in terms of attractiveness.

They do work hard and good

They know how to run a Impreza (party), specially weddings

They have a very particular language, very rich, beautiful and difficult.

They have great writers, poets, musicians, doctors and scientists

They have a decent kitchen. Richer and bettr than most of its neighbours.

They have a very varied country in terms of landscapes and architecture

Polish are adventurous and have a strong will

    Bad stereotypes

    Theres too many of them

Just like the English in Spain, the Poles in UK don´t try to integrate generally. They live in their own paralel society, they speak generally bad english, and they have their own shops, cafes, community centres, biuros, etc etc. This, along with their big number, makes them a disliked group by locals (understand the feeling, we feel in spain the same about English)

most males look very similar. And some times its scary, like if they had been mass produced

Females have a short variety of names. Or at least the use only a few ones: Kasia, Magda, Iwona, Paulina, Dominika, Gosia...and that is about it lol

Their administration is considerably corrupt, just like other post-commiecountries... people is very pesimistic and everybody seems to accept it like is inevitable.

They are very patriotic and nationalisatic but they are also pesimistic znd have a bad concept of themselves.

The church has much more power than it should. and yest, they are fervient Catholics.

they have probles with alcohol...but that doesn´t stand out here in Scotland

They have a flat round face.

I heard that there are cities in Poland that are completely devoid of young people. Kind of sad.

How about bowling? This is one of the more generous stereotypes common mostly among Americans for some reason, and it beats me.

I think that here in Italy we do not have a very clear idea of polish people, not even stereotypes.
The only one that comes to my mind is about how hot polish girls are and so poland is considered some sort of "game reserve" where the italian man goes for "hunting" if you understand what I mean.

I think this one comes from the "Poles are Mongoloids" stereotype.
