Default List countries in Europe by whether they are phenotypically more similar to Sweden or Greece

It was actually Sikeliot's idea in another thread of mine ages ago. So, here goes:

    Sweden

Iceland, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belarus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine.

    Greece

Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Malta.

    Intermediate

    France, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia.

I agree with all of these except I'd put France and Hungary closer to Sweden, and Slovenia and Croatia to Greece.

Slovenes and Croats look more Central than (stereotypically) Southern Euro. And the Central and Southern regions of France are considerably darker and more Mediterranean-shifted than Britain, let alone Sweden.

They might, but they would look closer to Greece than to Sweden.

As far as France, you know I disagree that they look strongly Mediterranean.

I suppose all the Alpines and Dinarids might tilt Slovenes and Croats towards Greece, but still they aren't that similar. As for the French, they may not be strongly Mediterranean, but certainly they are not strongly Nordic enough to tilt them more towards Sweden either, except for the Northern and Eastern fringes of the country. As we have discussed before, Northern France is very similar to Britain and also overlaps to a reasonable extent with Holland and Germany. However, the Central and Southern regions are rather more like Northern Italy and to a certain extent Spain.

    In general yes it's OK

Not sure about Hungarians, but judging by French I see here seems right

I would also put Switzerland, Cornwall and Slovakia as intermediate

BTW what's your opinion about Wales?

I'll make it a little more complex:
By far closer to Sweden: Norway, Iceland, Finland, Estonia, Denmark, England, Ireland, Wales, The Netherlands
Closer to Sweden but with a less significant (though itself strong) difference than states in previous group: Belgium, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia
About equidistant: France, Croatia, Hungary, Moldova
By far closer to Greece: Malta, Cyprus, Albania, Kosovo, Italy, Spain, Portugal
Closer to Greece but less significantly so than countries in previous group: Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Bulgaria, Romania
Close to neither (too Eastern shifted to compare to Sweden and too Northern shifted to compare to Greece): Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Ukraine
After not shaving for a while:

I disagree with the last one, as they are equally too eastern to compare with both swedes and Greeks, but nearly as northern as swedes, and from that aspect closer to them

Swiss, Cornish, Slovaks and Welsh look more Northern than Southern European.
