Religious people always make Hell sound like an awesome place. Lusty people, pot smokers, gamblers, metalheads, etc.
Meanwhile in Heaven just do macrame and listen to Christian rock or whatever.

Heaven and Hell are states of dying mind. That is why person who commits suicide "goes to Hell" and person who dies peacefully in old age after happy life goes to Heaven. That is general rule. Only dying person knows what he feels in that moment and that will send his soul to certain place with similar souls.
After person dies we can help to his soul with prayers. If death is caused by murder or suicide it requires more prayers because those souls are frighten and depressed in moment of their death.

No we can't. It clearly states in the Bible that death is final, and thereafter we cannot do anything from here to influence the departed's future.After person dies we can help to his soul with prayers. In Orthodox Christianity prayers exists for the reasons I mention.
Other parts of my text may be my free interpretation. I'm secular Christian, my mind is scientific not dogmatic. Someone would call me agnostic.
