I don't have any kind of knowledge on genetics and calculators. Mainly because physically I'm almost perfect, very attractive and women love me and that's why I don't need to develop my intelligence.
Having said that, why people from countries more or less far away from the Iberian peninsula score Iberian (Iberian+Basque) so high? is it normal?

I don't know also but the labels on this calculator might be mesleading. Iberian and Basque components are probably a mixture of regional Neolithic and Hunter Gather ancestry. In non-Iberian members is probably ancient and doesn't necessarily mean that they have Iberian ancestry.

Members that score a significant amount of Atlantic in other Eurogenes runs are likely to score Iberian and Basque on K36, that's my two cents.

i find it interesting how my mom has a tad bit more Iberian than my father. I would have guessed the other way around for that category

In my opinion yes, because I am assuming that you score some Atlantic on other Eurogenes runs like K15 (some Germanic ethnic groups like Danes score high Atlantic). Atlantic is to my knowledge a mixture of Neolithic\Hunter Gatherer and a percentage of it is probably being read as Iberian and Basque on K36 (though I believe most of it will be read as North Sea in your particular case since you're German). In your case and assuming you don't have Iberian ancestors to the best of your knowledge, it is most likely ancient.
